Decking

Decking is available in either treated softwood or natural hardwood. Both options usually feature a machined surface for grip and non slip properties. It is usually laid on treated joists with a landscaping fabric underneath to suppress weed growth. Treated softwood can be finished in a variety of stains and colours while natural hardwood is best finished with a decking oil that simply enhances the existing variety of shades and colours that are already in the wood.
