PM Landscapes was formed over twenty years ago by Patrick Martin who has many years of experience in garden design and construction in the south west London area.

We specialise in typical urban gardens found in areas such as Balham, Battersea, Clapham, Earlsfield, Putney, Raynes Park, Southfields, Wandsworth and Wimbledon.

PM Landscapes will ensure that from the initial consultation right through the design, construction and planning stages, every aspect of your garden project is carefully managed and taken care of. In landscape gardening, excellent design concepts and ideas are only as good as their implementation in reality on the ground – for this, skilled construction, attention to detail and experience are all required, and PM Landscapes have a deserved reputation for all of these.

From a landscaping point of view, gardens in south-west London come with their own unique set of challenges, often having to cater to several different requirements at once – entertaining space, mini football pitch, planting areas and storage to name a few.

At PM Landscapes we have the knowledge and experience of how to organise limited space to achieve the maximum use of the garden while at the same time, ensuring that the central area of the garden remains clear and uncluttered.

Choosing the right materials is also an essential component to the successful outcome of any garden project, and we will offer free advise on this during the initial consultation.

This could range from a contemporary set-up using the new composite decking materials combined with rendered raised beds, to a more traditional style using natural stone paving such as slate, limestone, sandstone or granite.

Garden work in south-west London invariably involves some renewal to boundary fencing.

This could be done in feather edge style – vertical overlapped boards fixed on to horizontal arris rails or the smooth planed tongue and groove panels which are more suited to the contemporary urban garden setting.

Planting and lighting complete the garden project and again, advice will be available for this.

Planting must be appropriate both to the setting and to the requirements of the customer – this can often mean a low maintenance planting scheme combined with advice on the minimum of maintenance required for the new garden.

Contact PM Landscapes by phone, email or via the contact page on the website – the initial consultation, design ideas and quotes are all free of charge.

How The Project Was Received

We approached Patrick with a broad idea of what we wanted and he took this basic outline to create something that is far better than we could ever have imagined.
